So I was scrolling through Pinterest again and I came to a fun blog. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of it... but when I find it, I'll be sure to give it credit. :)   Anyway, on the blog were number popsicles. It's a popsicle with three layers of Math!! Yahoo for Math!! The top is the numerical number, the middle is the number word and the bottom shows the number represented on a ten frame. Cool huh?? I thought so too. I made the popsicles for numbers 1-20 and I even wrote the number on the back so that the Students can self check.

Here are a few pictures. :)

Last School year, my Co-Teacher had the cutest picture puzzles for Math. Our class loved them! They didn't even know they were learning, because all they were focused on was making the animal pictures. :) So I decided to make ten animal picture puzzles. Below is a sneak peak of one of them...

Enjoy!

The Alligator! Isn't he cute?  :)

I'd like to Thank Smilebox for allowing me to make a Slideshow and actually have it be FREE!! Yahoo!  I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I enjoyed taking the pictures. :) Last year I was part of a Co-Teach Classroom and we were taking pictures of us with the Students. We would take a nice "normal" picture and then a sILlY SilLy picture! haha

Enjoy and be ready... more Slideshows are to come for the 2013 School Year! :)

I was browsing through some Teacher Blogs and I came across this catchy video on Youtube. Hope you're ready to sing along... it pulls you in. Also, I love how it repeats the alphabet two times and both times it has the Students echo the letters. :) Just incase you don't like it... I added my FAVORITE Alphabet Song: The Florida Alphabet!!

I was browsing through Pinterest last week when I came across a Math Center that was too cute!! So I decided I had to make it. :) I found the cutest jar that ClipArt was able to offer and then found pictures of yummy cookies. Deciding on what cookie to use was a little bit hard... but then I thought about what cookie my students ate a lot this school year and my decision was made. OREO'S!! I got everything printed at Office Max, laminated it all yesterday and now I am busy cutting! But I decided to take a short break to post a few pictures for all of you to see. :)

The beautifully laminated sheets...
Here are the two cookie jars with cookies placed inside of them.
I added ten frames on the back of each sheet so Students can self check their answer in the Center.

Over the past few days, I have watched quite a few videos on learning how to make a Picture Slideshow and then posting it to a Blog. And well... I'd like to discuss the issues I'm facing.
1) The Youtube Tutorials make it look SUPER EASY, in fact they even say "super easy."  But then when I go to try it, well it just isn't as easy as they said it would be.

2) Then they go as far as to say free. But when I read it, it sounds more like this in my head: "free, Free, FRee, FREE!!!" To which I smile Super big (no one loves FREE more than me Ladies and Gentlemen). So I make the whole show and get to the last page to wait for the embedding code. But then I am slapped in the face with a problem... and at this point my face changes and "FREE" well that changes too. It changes to~  "Free Trial for 7 Days, but we need your Credit Card Number now to process it." It stinks so bad!!

So I'm left with a big dilemma....  I can make AMAZING hahahaha (not quite yet... but with time I hope I can) Picture Slideshows. However if I don't hand over my Credit Card number... no one else will be able to see them. I'm not sure what my final decision will be (Hand over the Credit Card Number or NOT Hand over the Credit Card Number).

Anyway,  I'll let you all know or rather "show" the decision I make soon. But for now I'll leave you with the collage I made of my niece Katie, Future Kindergartener. She starts Kindergarten in the Fall. Love that little munchkin!! (p.s. Smilebox allowed me to make the collage for free.)

So I have watched about 10 different tutorials on Youtube, all teaching me how to do different things... and I was only able to do about 3 correctly. Doesn't say to much for my ability to learn a new thing, does it?? haha
Anyway, I have decided to take a break from the scary world of Blogging and work on making a new Reading Center. I'm a bit addicted to Pinterest (as most of the world is) and they had the CUTEST Alphabet Center. You match an Uppercase "Scoop of Ice Cream" to a Lowercase "Ice Cream Cone." I'm crossing my fingers my ice cream scoops and cones turn out okay and I'll try to post a picture when I'm done. For now... enjoy this little scoop of heaven.  :)

ATTENTION, ATTENTION
Picture Update!!

If my scoops look a little big, well... that's because they are. :)    I only wanted to make 4 scoops per sheet and I wanted to use the whole paper. So they are a tad bit on the big side. But totally adorable! I can't wait to see the Students using them!!

I'm a bit nervous about Blogging, but I know everyone is doing it. So it is time for me to jump on the bandwagon. I'm looking forward to telling "The World" what fun and amazing things my Kindergarten Students are doing!

Check back to see all the things I plan for the Class... and then in August to see all the real excitement!!
